Schubert Systems of North Hollywood installed two 8-channel EQ Stations and a Motofader-64 remote control to use with the Yamaha 4000M monitor console in the 6,162-seat Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

“The EQ Station was the perfect choice for a monitor system that has to cater to numerous acts each season and often several in one day,” said Dirk Schubert. “EQ Station includes graphic EQ emulations of some of the most common units, which means an engineer can be up and running quickly regardless of the system he’s used to working on. The MotoFader interface also makes for a shorter learning curve.”

Schubert was able to reduce 16 channels of EQ from 24 RU to 4 RU. “Having 16 channels of parametric EQ, graphic EQ and multiband compression in four rackspaces makes the monitor package really compact. All of the EQ, effects units, compressors and gates fit into a single 22-space rack,” Dirk Schubert says.
