Turbosound iX Series two-way powered loudspeakers

At Winter NAMM 2015, British loudspeaker manufacturer Turbosound launched its iX Series two-way powered loudspeakers, the 1,100-watt 12-inch iX12 ($349 street) and 15-inch iX15 ($449 street), featuring Klark Teknik DSP and Class-D amplifier technologies. A special dual angle pole mount socket allows the enclosures to be pole mounted above subwoofers either facing straight forward, or positioned higher and angled downward for optimal audience coverage.

The iX12 and iX15 speakers are equipped with an onboard 2-channel digital mixer fully remote controllable via a dedicated iPhone/iPad app, or locally via dedicated LCD-based user interface. They also feature wireless Bluetooth stereo audio streaming.

DSP presets have been optimized for a range of applications and speaker orientations, promising seamless integration with subwoofers and enhanced intelligibility for floor-wedge monitor applications. The Klark Teknik digital signal processor provides useful presets and dynamic EQ for full-range response at low volume levels and transparent limiting for clarity at high output levels.

The iX12 and iX15 are covered by a 3-year warranty program.
