Northridge, CA (November 3, 2026)—The JBL Professional 3 Series has undergone a considerable redesign and now it’s back with a feature-packed new lineup. The new 3 Series MkIII powered studio monitor family includes the 305P MkIII, 306P MkIII and 308P MkIII powered studio monitors, along with the 310S MkIII powered subwoofer.
Key to the new editions are redesigned acoustic systems, new Class D amplification, simplified room optimization and integrated mounting options to support a variety of workflows and listening needs.
All of the new models sport a redesigned high-frequency driver that works with an updated JBL Image Control Waveguide with the aim of providing a wider, more consistent listening area and stable stereo imaging across the workspace.

Meanwhile, new low-frequency drivers reportedly feature stiffer cone materials, upgraded magnet assemblies and aluminum shorting rings to improve power handling and reduce distortion.
Recognizing the physical constraints that many users work within, a new port design is intended to provide more predictable bass performance when monitors are placed on desks, near walls or in other space-constrained environments. Hand in hand with that, To help users adapt monitors to different production environments, every full-range model includes four one-touch room controls that provide 81 corrective EQ combinations for speaker placement, wall distance and high- and low-frequency adjustment.

Meanwhile, the new JBL 310S MkIII powered subwoofer features low-frequency response to 26 Hz and includes selectable crossover settings and external bass-management bypass for system integration.
