On Saturday, October 27, audioMIDI.com, an online retailer of computer audio hardware and software, is offering the Los Angeles area a tutorial on Open Labs’ NeKo keyboard/DAW from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in audioMIDI.com’s corporate office in Chatsworth, Calif. Film composer and Open Labs consultant Nicholas O’Toole will demonstrate how the NeKo makes touring and film scoring easier.
“This workshop will be an excellent opportunity for touring keyboard players to see how easy it is to have a studio DAW setup on the road without sacrificing any power from the professional studio,” says O’Toole. “This is an especially useful product, especially when taking film scoring into account.”
There is a $10 admission fee for this workshop. Free parking is available, and food and refreshments will be served.
