CEDAR Forensic at GSA 2007, Announces Distributor in Spain

CEDAR Forensic of Cambridge, UK will exhibit and present a seminar at the Global Security Asia (GSA) 2007 Exhibition and Conference at Singapore Expo, March 27-29. The three-day conference gathers international industry experts and speakers from governments and the security, surveillance and intelligence industries to share experiences, knowledge and expertise.

Exhibiting on stand number 110 (with DWR Associates), CEDAR Forensic will show the latest version of the CEDAR Cambridge Forensic System. The upgraded system hosts a full complement of adaptive filters, noise reduction modules and other processes for improving the quality and intelligibility of surveillance recordings and other forensic audio.

Also, Alan French (pictured), CEDAR’s senior forensic audio consultant and manager, will present a seminar on March 27 at 10 a.m. in Singapore Expo’s Meeting Room G titled “Forensic Audio: Noise Removal, Signal Processing and Speech Enhancement.” French will discuss what types of processes are suitable for given types of recordings and how they may be applied to achieve optimum results.

CEDAR Forensic also announced that it has appointed General Comunicaciones y Seguridad S.A. (Gecomse) as its dealer in Spain. “After several months of conversation, Gecomse is really happy to join the CEDAR family and expects a very strong business relationship in order to introduce CEDAR’s forensic and surveillance range of products into Spanish law enforcement,” says Gecomse founder Vicente Garcia. “The products are ready, our company is ready and the customers are waiting for us. The CIAS 2007 show in Madrid, which is an exclusive event for state security agencies and law enforcement bodies, will be the start.”
