Penton Media’s 2007 LDI, the largest trade show and conference for visual and sound technologies, will feature an expanded focus on professional audio and live sound production. It will take place November 16-18, 2007, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
LDI’s ET Live annual outdoor exhibits will offer demonstrations of concert sound products onstage. More than 11,000 lighting, sound, production and staging professionals will attend LDI, which will feature more than 400 exhibiting companies and more than 85 educational seminars.
Each stage will demonstrate playback of the same pre-recorded track and then feature a live performance in a round-robin format at 25-minute intervals. Demonstrations will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Each stage will feature a performance twice daily on November 16 and 17, and once on November 18.

A full menu of live sound conference sessions on November 12-16 will include “RF Spectrum Dilemma,” “Line Array Design and Application” and “Working with a Sound Rental Shop,” as well as “Training the Sound Designer” and “Introduction to Digital Audio.”
Technologies for Worship Magazine will also sponsor specialized audio classes for house of worship venues. Finally, attendees can receive continuous complimentary hands-on training at the “Audio Console Workshop”sound mixing workshops.
