Intended for use in a variety of applications, Mackie’s MC Series of headphones debuts with the MC-150 and MC-250. Both models feature closed-back ear cups with 50mm drivers that provide an extended low-frequency response and isolation from external sound. The MC-150 is aimed for use by studios and DJs, while the MC-250 is engineered for use in mixing and other critical monitoring applications. Soft earpads and headbands ensure comfort even during extended listening sessions, and a collapsible design allows MC headphones to be folded into a small carry bag. The MC-150 and MC-250 ship with a 9.8-foot straight cable with locking bayonet connector. Frequency response of the MC-150 is stated as 15 Hz to 20 kHz, while that of the MC-250 is stated as 10 Hz to 20 kHz.
