Schaumberg, Illinois, April 9, 2024— Amphion Loudspeakers will be available to view and demo during Axpona Audio Show. The loudspeakers will be showcased in Playback Distribution’s suites, numbered 1229 and 1230, from April 12th through the 14th. Amphion’s latest floor standing speakers the Krypton3X, the Argon7LS and Argon0 will be present. Axpona follows the recent partnership between Amphion and Playback Distribution that debuted at the Florida International Audio Expo in February of this year. The suites are located within the Renaissance Schaumberg Hotel & Convention Center, at 1551 Thoreau Dr N, Schaumburg, Illinois.
Due to the popularity of the suite at the Florida Audio Expo, the same setup is being replicated for Axpona. In suite 1230 the Krypton3X floorstanding speakers will be showcased with Esoteric’s new F02 Class A/B integrated amplifier and Esoteric’s N05XD Network Player/DAC for streaming. In Suite 1229 the Amphion’s Argon7LS ($7,199/pair) will make their US show debut paired with TEAC’s top of the line 700 series components. This room will also feature the bookshelf Argon0 speakers driven by the TEAC AI303 micro-sized integrated amplifier as part of a desktop audio solution. Both rooms will be wired with cables from Espirt Kappa and Celesta as well as being displayed on Quadraspire furniture.

The Krypton3X won the ‘Best of Show Award’ from Soundstage! The Argon Series consists of the Argon0 desktop loudspeaker, Argon1 and Argon 3S bookshelf speakers, as well as the Argon 3LS and Argon 7LS floor standing speakers with the Argon5C as the centre channel for home theatre stereo playback. Argon is based on the highest quality components with innovative acoustical engineering through an electrically simple but elegant crossover design.
