ODDS ON RECORDS & STUDIOS EARNS NOMINATION FOR 2009 TEC AWARD IN OUTSTANDING CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENT

LAS VEGAS, NV — Odds On Records & Studios has been nominated for a Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in the Studio Design Project category. The TEC Awards are the foremost program recognizing the accomplishments of audio professionals, honoring individuals and companies as well as technical innovations that are involved with sound for movies, TV shows, recordings and live performances.

Odds On Records & Studios is a brand new $7 million multi-faceted recording facility in Henderson, NV; just a few miles from the famous Las Vegas strip. Offering a parallel world where vintage gear and state-of-the-art recording equipment co-exist, Odds On Records & Studios makes history as the home of a 96-channel Solid State Logic Duality console, the first of its size in North America.

Duality is situated, the new 12,000-square-foot building comprises a new mixing studio that furnishes an 80-input SSL 9000 K console, as well as a writing, editing and production suite that features an SSL Matrix. Each of the rooms, built by acoustician Carl Yanchar of Yanchar Design & Consulting Group.
