Fourth Annual Pensado Awards Announces Presenters

Industry luminaries to present awards at live ceremony on Sunday, December 3, 2017

LOS ANGELES, CA— The fourth annual Pensado Awards, an award show acknowledging today’s emerging brand of music professional and “recognizing the faces behind the sound,” has announced its presenters. This year’s show is taking place on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Los Angeles’ historic Fonda Theatre, 6126 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90028.

Presenters will include such acclaimed industry figures as 2018 GRAMMY® nominees 1500 or Nothin’, presenting Game Changer of the Year; engineer/mixer DJ Swivel (The Chainsmokers, others) and producer/engineer Noah Passovoy (Maroon 5), presenting Break Through Mixer; multi-platinum producer/composer Busbee and Hamilton soundtrack engineer Eboni Smith, presenting Break Through Songwriter; music industry legend Miles Copeland, presenting the Pensado Giant Award; Harry Shearer (of This Is Spinal Tap, The Simpsons and much more) and CJ Vanston (producer, film composer, keyboardist), presenting Live/FOH and Tracking Engineer; mastering engineers Eric Boulanger (La La Land, Green Day, Diana Krall) and Jonathan Wyner, presenting Spin Doctor DJ; Lindsay Rothschild from YouTube and Matt Terrell from Facebook, presenting Master of Mastering; Pensado’s Place co-hosts Herb Trawick and Dave Pensado, presenting the night’s final awards; and more.

This year’s co-hosts are drummer Samantha Maloney (Hole, Mötley Crüe, Peaches), legendary producer, engineer and mixer Chris Lord-Alge (Pink, Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne, Green Day) and Kosine of acclaimed production duo Da Internz (Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, John Legend).
