PRODUCE IT NOW SELECTS WORXAUDIO TECHNOLOGIES TRUELINE SYSTEM

Greensboro, NC – January 2009… WorxAudio Technologies, a leading manufacturer of loudspeaker systems for the pro touring and install markets, is pleased to announce that Produce It Now, Incorporated, a high-end special events design/production company serving the Washington DC. metropolitan and surrounding areas, recently expanded its arsenal of WorxAudio Technologies loudspeaker systems by taking delivery of two of the company’s TrueLine M80X2-P line array systems and two TL215S-P subwoofers.

Produce It Now is a full service firm that, in addition to audio systems, also handles staging, backdrops, lighting, video, and logistics management for all aspects of the special events market. Setup time is frequently in short supply on many of the company’s projects and, as such, the company was looking for a sound reinforcement solution that offered broad horizontal dispersion and solid throw capability in addition to being easy to transport and get operational. The WorxAudio TrueLine M80X2-P and the TL215S-P subwoofers were the perfect tools to address this requirement, as Carey Hargrove, Produce It Now’s President and Senior Event Producer explained.

“One of our consistently most challenging issues is time constraints, explained Hargrove. “Being that we frequently handle all aspects of the event for our clients, there’s a lot more to focus on than just sound alone. Our new M80 and TL215 systems enable us to move in, position the enclosures, and be up in running in no time at all. With the M80X2-P being a two-way, ultra compact, line array system that contains two modules in a single enclosure, we can move this in, roll the TL215 sub into place, and setup a speaker on a stick-type configuration in a matter of minutes—thanks in large part to WorxAudio’s new crank-up pole mount system.

WorxAudio’s new crank-up pole mount system incorporates a rugged base that mounts onto the subwoofer and a pole that gets attached to the top box. Once the pole is affixed to the top box, the pole is positioned atop the subwoofer by placing it into the subwoofer’s receiver base. With the pole’s integrated crank handle, the top box can now be raised to the desired height above the subwoofer—making setup fast and easy while providing the added benefit of adjustable height.

Hargrove’s new WorxAudio acquisition received its first outing on a recent dinner engagement at the University of Maryland, where approximately 200 guests were celebrating the 100th anniversary of the university’s electrical engineering department. This event was a sit-down dinner affair that featured American entrepreneur and inventor Dean L. Kamen, who in addition to inventing the Segway Personal Transporter, is particularly well known for his work with biomedical devices.

“We only had two hours to set up everything, including the sound system, the stage, the backdrop, lighting, and other aspects of the production, said Hargrove. “This was our first time using the new system and the setup couldn’t have been easier. The new crank up stand and the self-powered design of the both the M80 and the TL215 streamlined setup considerably. We had sound within 30 minutes from the time we entered the room.

“The room was approximately 80 feet wide by 200 feet deep, continued Hargrove, “The event turned out great. I was able to quickly and easily provide clear, even coverage throughout the entire space. No matter where you walked, coverage and sound level was absolutely consistent and the quality was first rate. For this event, we had a left-right setup with one top box and sub on each end of the stage. With events of this nature, the worst seats in the room are typically the extreme left and right sides up close to the stage, but with this system, sound coverage was consistent everywhere. The system delivers an extremely detailed sound and when there needs to be bass, there’s no shortage from these subwoofers.

Before turning his attention back to his upcoming projects, Hargrove offered this closing thought, “I’ve been very impressed with WorxAudio—both their products and the level of customer and technical assistance I receive. I really believe the sound quality and features offered by this system puts me at an advantage over competing companies in my area. I look forward to buying more.
