Manufacturer Product Trainings (MPTs) at CEDIA Expo give integrators a valuable opportunity to make their time at the show count with free, hands-on sessions designed to build skills they can put to work immediately. With more than 90 sessions currently available and more to come, integrators can bring their teams to the show to build product knowledge, strengthen technical skills, and gain application insights. No other industry event offers this breadth of free, hands-on training, along with the opportunity to visit manufacturers on the show floor to put that knowledge into context.
Hosted by exhibiting manufacturers, including ADI, Automatic Controls, Chowmainsoft, Comcast, Crestron, FX Luminaire, Liteline, Lucetta CI, Lutron, PowerShades, Samsung, Savant, Sonos, Sterling Lighting, and Unique Lighting Systems. MPT sessions provide direct, free access to the experts behind the products that integrators specify, sell, install, and support every day. Training spans critical areas, including audio, video, lighting control, networking, shading, security, and energy management, with sessions designed to address both product-specific knowledge and real-world installation needs, giving integrators a competitive edge on their next project.
“MPT sessions give our team the opportunity to work directly with integrators, use guided self-discovery sessions that allow integrators to get hands-on practice with our devices and software,” said Jim Haws, Technical Trainer, ADI Global. “Doing it this way helps them specify, install, and support our solutions with the utmost confidence. I can’t imagine a more valuable way to spend my time at CEDIA Expo.”
For integration businesses, the benefits go beyond simply learning a new product. MPT sessions can assist technicians and systems designers in acquiring hands-on skills, understanding installation best practices, and gaining insights into how products function within complete systems. This knowledge can lead to reduced troubleshooting time, fewer callbacks, and improved client experiences. Additionally, certification opportunities can help individuals and businesses enhance their credentials.
“Manufacturer Product Training is one of the most effective ways for integrators to maximize value at CEDIA Expo,” stated Jason McGraw, Group Vice President and Show Director of CEDIA Expo, powered by Forge. “These sessions provide an opportunity for those who design and build the technology systems to connect directly with the people who install and support it. For business owners, it is also a chance to bring their teams, invest in workforce development, and return to work with knowledge that can immediately benefit both the business and its customers.”
All sessions are free to attend. Attendees can register directly or, if already registered, can access their registration through the confirmation email to add sessions. The full lineup of sessions can be explored here.
