ProjectSAM Orchestral Essentials Main screen
ProjectSAM, based in The Netherlands, announces the release of its newest sample library: Orchestral Essentials—The Essence of Film Scoring ($449 as direct download and boxed DVD; special cross-grade paths are available for existing ProjectSAM users). The new library comprises a 7 GB library pool in compressed NCW format, and bundles carefully selected essentials from each of ProjectSAM’s products, including the Symphobia series, True Strike series and Orchestral Brass Classic, in one package that includes Native Instruments’ Kontakt Player 5.
Orchestral Essentials covers full orchestra, string, brass and woodwind ensembles, and classical and world percussion for scoring for film, videogames or pop music with the acclaimed “cinematic SAM sound.” For each of the orchestral sections, an essential list of articulations is available, as well as one expressive legato instrument and a set of clusters, textures and effects.
The library also offers a concert harp, church organ, ProjectSAM’s Dystopia sound design, and Piano Mystique and Harpsichord, which are exclusive to Orchestral Essentials.
