Behringer announced that, effective immediately, Arie Van den Broek resigned from his post as the company's CEO. In his place, Michael Deeb joins the Behringer group of companies, and will be based in Singapore.
According to company founder Uli Behringer, "For six long years, Van den Broek has put a unique and personal imprint on the development and growth of this company. Behringer's global organization spanning from Asia to Europe, and from Australia to the USA, carries his trademark and signature. We are and will remain very grateful to him indeed. I deeply regret his decision to resign from his position as CEO, but have understanding for his decision to seek a new challenge, and wish him success in his future endeavors.
"Michael Deeb’s wealth of experience, an admirable track record of achievements and international perspective is exactly what Behringer requires to stay on top of the changing needs in our dynamic marketplace," Behringer continued.
During his career, Deeb was instrumental in providing both financial and large-scale complex IT fulfillment solutions to many industry leaders, such as CitiBank, Dow Chemical, ICI, British Steel and Ford Motor Company. "I am very proud to become part of the Behringer family. Building onto the company’s remarkable success will be a hard act to follow. But I pretty much relish challenges such as this one," Deeb commented. "I am a passionate guitarist, and to combine my hobby with my professional skills has always been my dream."
