Fishman has awarded its second Grand Prize of a CF Martin DC-15ME acoustic-electric guitar with Fishman Matrix VT Enhance™ electronics to musician and Pennsylvania native Dave Wyborney.
Dave started playing trumpet and piano when he was 10 and has been learning and playing the guitar for the last four years with a focus on old school blues artists such as BB King, Albert King, Robert Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Exceptionally successful, the contest has generated over 42,000 entries and 17,000 “likes” on Fishman’s Facebook page so far.
In addition to giving away Fishman-equipped OEM instruments featuring innovative and category leading technologies such as Aura®, Fluence®, and TriplePlay® each quarter, the company will also give away a Loudbox Mini amplifier to one winner every two weeks. There will also be weekly “grab-bag” prizes such as tuners and other small goods.
A celebration of Fishman’s 35 years of Inspired Performance Technology, the promotion is part of yearlong social media campaign to showcase its products, build brand awareness and encourage engagement among Fishman fans and fans of their extensive lineup of OEM partners.
