Nashville, TN (February 19, 2019)—Having a good time is a key ingredient of modern country music, so it’s not too surprising that Nashville sets the stage for some of those to happen with its plentiful nightspots. Recently, three sites—FGL House, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen, and Luke’s 32 Bridge—installed DAS Audio Event and Vantec systems to ensure the music keeps flowing all night.
High Wire Productions (HWP) of Nashville, a design/build firm and live production services company, was contracted to design and deploy the sound systems. Matt Jones, president, explained, “Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar serves a menu that is a mix of the artist’s southern cooking favorites, steaks, pastas, salads and more, while Luke’s 32 Bridge has close ties with artist Luke Bryan and is a 30,000-square-foot, multi-level entertainment facility, featuring six levels, eight bars, and four stages with live music and two restaurants.”
DAS Event 208A 3-way, active line arrays were used in all three installations—16 were deployed at FGL House, augmented by six 218A powered subwoofers. Meanwhile, at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen, a dozen 208As, several Vantec 12A and 15A powered, 2-way point source loudspeaker enclosures and six Event 218A powered subwoofers went in. At Luke’s 32 Bridge, the setup included four 208As along with a combination of Vantec 12A and Vantec 15A enclosures and 10 218A powered subwoofers.
“Given the constant operation of these loudspeakers and the inevitable abuse that naturally occurs in venues like these, the DAS equipment has fared very well,” said Jones. “With 100-plus hours of use a week, these loudspeakers get slammed for hours on end and keep reproducing high quality audio without issue.”
