The Dozier Center, a performing arts center on the outskirts of Atlanta, will soon take delivery of two Solid State Logic C200 digital production consoles, joining the facility’s existing XL 9080 K Series SuperAnalogue console.
The 85,000-square-foot Dozier Center boasts an 1,800-square-foot recording studio featuring the XL 9080 K Series console and a 300-square-foot mix room featuring a C232. Also housed in the Dozier Center is a 700-seat 5.1 concert hall/theater with a FOH C224 fully recallable console that will be used for live, mix to picture and film. Additionally, the complex contains approximately 23,000 square feet of rehearsal rooms, a full choral chamber and orchestral room, and over 3,000 square feet of jazz, tap and ballet studios. It is scheduled to open April 1, 2006.
