Wellington, New Zealand (September 9, 2010)–The Series 20 QSP is a new 4-channel microphone and instrument preamplifier, which utilizes the Buzz Audio proprietary BE41 True Class-A amplifiers coupled with Lundahl audio output transformers.
This combination is claimed to produce “a clean and open high end with a nice touch of bass warmth.” The transformerless, nonreactive input means that, “the QSP interfaces well with all microphone types and yields a multi-purpose preamp that delivers sound always complimenting the source.”
Up to 70 dB of low noise gain is spec’d with a maximum output level of +26 dBu. Each channel is equipped with an instrument (DI) input, 20 dB pad, high/low input impedance switch, polarity reverse, mute and phantom power functions.
