Cakewalk’s www.Project5.com Website, a virtual community for Project5 enthusiasts, was created to help electronic musicians take full advantage of the Project5 Soft Synth Workstation by providing free tutorials and tips, drum kits, sampler banks, synth presets and groove patterns.
Project5.com also provides an online community where users can exchange project files, synth patches and patterns. Visitors can read interviews and features with music technology leaders and Project5 artists.
To celebrate the launch of Project5.com, Cakewalk has teamed up with Alienware, Edirol, Intel, Native Instruments and Roland to provide an opportunity to win a mobile recording studio worth more than $7,000. Prizes in the contest include an Alienware laptop featuring an Intel Pentium 4 processor, software from Cakewalk and Native Instruments, and hardware from Roland and Edirol. Participants can enter the contest by visiting www.Project5.com and downloading the free Project5 trial version, or by registering their purchased copy of Project5 with Cakewalk at www.cakewalk.com. Entries for the contest must be received by January 31, 2004. For complete contest rules visit the Project5 Website.
