Solid Stage Logic recently introduced significant and substantial enhancements to its range of application-specific digital consoles at AES Amsterdam. The new consoles earn a “Plus” designation through the implementation of advanced HS Control Processing and a highly evolved feature set.
The Aysis Air Plus broadcast console and Avant Plus post and film console both use SSL’s discrete and familiar knob-per-function operation, but now incorporate new HS Control Processing–powerful and advanced signal processing that delivers a high degree of responsiveness and enables new features to be implemented, including INFO faders, a TFT display with a new user interface and a NiTECH Super-Pre, a new option for MT Plus.

A futher new console, MT PLus, a sister console to MT Production, is the next generation of SSL’s popular Axiom-MT. In addition to the productivity benefits afforded by the HS Control Processor, MT Plus also features optional INFO faders and a TFT Display that accepts a second SVGA input, enabling operators to access output from external workstations directly from the console’s surface. The MT Plus may also be specified with the new NiTECH Super-Pre remote input amplifier system for 24-bit digital audio quality.
