Lynx Studio Technology Inc. has announced that its OSX drivers have been tested and approved for use with the new Apple OSX Tiger operating system. The Lynx OSX Core Audio driver is used for the LynxTWO, Lynx L22, AES16 and Aurora models.
“The primary breakthrough for audio in Tiger is the addition of aggregate device support,” stated David A. Hoatson company co-founder and chief software engineer. “This means that our customers take full advantage of our existing multiple PCI card support. For instance, a Nuendo user could install up to four AES16 interfaces for a total of 64 channels of 192 kHz digital audio inputs and outputs.”
