New York, NY (October 6, 2026)—You might not jump to light speed, but Baby Audio’s latest plugin, HyperWarp, will help get your audio moving. It’s a time-bending effect that can be used to create motion, texture and color by manipulating time and timbre.

Combining granular signal processing with a graphical time sequencer, HyperWarp lets users dig into a sound by drawing speed shifts, stutter steps and direction changes to create everything from lurching, glitchy rhythmic sequences to fluid, time-warped motion effects. The company itself refers to the plugin as a “happy accidents machine.”

A total of seven different effect profiles are offered, each providing a custom configuration of HyperWarp’s granular engine, controlled by four curated macro knobs. The incoming signal gets broken down into microsampled grains then reassembled with the various effect profiles, which range from clean time manipulation to frenetic modulation to lo-fi.

Users can explore all the effects using eight front-panel controls in conjunction with the graph sequencer, aided by a built-in library of preset graph shapes and smart randomization for all parameters. Additinally, there are more than 190 custom presets provided with the plugin as well.
