Yamaha Debuts New RUio16FLX-D Dante I/O

Buena Park, CA (September 18, 2026)—Yamaha has launched the RUio16FLX-D, a 16-channel rack I/O solution intended for tackling installation, business audio, and live sound applications connectivity needs.

The RUio16FLX-D can be utilized in commercial installations and business audio environments, where system designers may need to connect microphones, amplifiers and other audio equipment across a networked system.

Built around its Phoenix connectors, the RUio16FLX-D allows each pair of channels to be configured as analog inputs, analog outputs or AES/EBU outputs, allowing users to configure I/O according as an application requires

When teamed with the new Yamaha DME5 and DME3 Digital Signal Processors, the RUio16FLX-D provides an additional option for expanding system connectivity when additional analog I/O is required.

The unit provides 16 channels in a 1RU space; features include Selectable Analog In, Analog Out, or AES/EBU Out for each two-channel pair; Dante network connectivity; an LCD display for channel configuration and more.
