The L.A. Studios Inc., the nation’s preeminent audio post-production company, announced today that mixer Rich Rauh will be relocating from the company’s Margarita Mix de Santa Monica facility to Margarita Mix Hollywood. The move was prompted by requests from Hollywood-based clients who wanted to work with Rauh at a location in the
same neighborhood.

This move also represents a test phase of a new initiative that The L.A. Studios is considering under which the company will send its award-winning mixers to whatever location is most convenient to the client. This means that clients can work with their favorite mixer even when they are not at that particular mixer’s home facility. In addition to mixers traveling between the company’s three Los Angeles-based facilities, the Mobile Mixers Program even encompasses traveling out-of-state for recording sessions at a celebrity’s home.

“When a client is on a tight deadline the last thing he or she wants to do is trek across town to do their audio post work,” said Jesse Meli, President/CEO of The L.A. Studios, Inc. “Clients tend to bond with a particular mixer and Rich has won a loyal following with a number of companies in the Hollywood area. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our clients to work with their favorite mixers.”

Rauh is one of the industry’s most accomplished mixers, having worked on spots for top brands such as Nextel, AT&T, Infiniti, Wachovia, Purina and Miller Lite. His other work includes music videos for Redman and E-40 and DVD added value commentary for the feature films Minority Report, The Recruit and The New Guy.
