SonicPool, a post-production facility in Hollywood specializing in audio and video finishing, and off-line editorial suite rentals, has promoted Grace Anthony (pictured) to the position of production supervisor for the company’s music library division, Pool Cues Music. The announcement was made by SonicPool co-founders/supervising sound mixers John Frost and Patrick Bird.
In her new post, Anthony will perform scheduling and various other administrative duties. She will also be spearhead the division, which licenses all genres and styles of original music for use within feature films, TV programs, TV commercials, promos, mobile and videogame productions.
Anthony had been a second engineer with SonicPool since 2005, assisting with audio editing for Comedy Central’s Halfway Home, Discovery Networks’ Shape Up or Ship Out and MTV’s Call to Greatness, as well as for the films Hidden Secrets, Midnight Clear and My Date with Drew. She has also worked on TV promos, commercials and radio projects. Additionally, Anthony prepared rough mixes, coordinated with clients, assisted with voice-over recording sessions, and maintained media databases and archives.
