HANOVER, MA, January 20, 2026 — Augspurger® [NAMM 2026 Booth# 15408], the world’s leading manufacturer of large-format mixing monitors, announced that Bergamot Asset Management has acquired a 50 percent stake in Augspurger® and Professional Audio Design and Malekpour Design Partners. The three companies will operate under the newly created Augspurger Holdco LLC, a new parent company created in partnership with Bergamot and Dave Malekpour, founder and president of the group.
The partnership, which was completed prior to Thanksgiving after several months of due diligence, combines Bergamot’s capital investment and operational leadership with Malekpour’s entrepreneurial vision, positioning Augspurger for new growth and operational efficiencies while maintaining its world-renowned reputation for craftsmanship, performance, and design excellence.
Christopher Liong, CIO of Bergamot Asset Management, has been appointed CEO of the newly created entity Augspurger Holdco LLC and Malekpour will serve as President and Chief Product Officer. Malekpour says the partnership will result in increased operational scale and new product development: “Our new relationship with Bergamot opens a new phase of the Augspurger® brand, allowing us to continue delivering the highest-quality products to our customers while significantly increasing our capacity to meet the increased demand for our monitors around the world.”
