EarSonics Demonstrates New “Grace” and “EM64” In-Ear Monitors at Winter NAMM

Anaheim, CA — NAMM — January 24, 2019 — At the 2019 Winter NAMM show, EarSonics demonstrated two new models of the in-ear monitors, Grace, the company’s most sophisticated universal earphone, and the custom-fit EM64 in-ear designed for live performance. The new flagship Grace IEM model uses advanced electronics combining exclusive materials and unique technology, all powered by drivers specifically designed to EarSonics’ specifications. The EM64 IEMs are designed for the rigors of the stage and all that accompanies a live performance, but with maximum sound performance with a full, rich quality throughout the sonic spectrum. The new Grace in-ear monitors retail at $2,299. USD and are available now from dealers in the US and Canada through its distributor Focal Naim America (formerly known as Audio Plus Services).

“In a field where data sheets and performance specs are the rules, we as listeners have ended up forgetting the most important thing: What drives us initially to get the best sounding in-ear monitor—experiencing the emotion that will make you forget everything else around you. Our earphones are developed with this purpose: triggering emotion,” stated Franck Lopez, CEO of EarSonics. A musician and sound engineer, Lopez founded EarSonics in 2005. He was unhappy with the quality of in-ear monitors available at the time and decided to create his own. In 2006, he began to offer his new products for sale and today enjoys immense success and accolades from users and the press. All EarSonics in-ear monitors are made 100% in France.

The new EM64 professional IEM for live performers features the company’s exclusive “Truewave” system, a three asymmetrical output cannula topped by a mono-brass bell, all leading to optimal phase control and a prime magnitude coherence curve, offering 100% phase control and 100% frequency coherence. The EM64’s full, rich sound throughout the spectrum creates a foreground presence effect for an incredible live-sounding experience for the performer.

“The new Grace model is our best universal in-ear monitor to date,” added Lopez. “Grace consists of ten drivers with a 3D printed cover, all hand assembled at our laboratories—they deliver an amazing sound. And the EM64 are now our top 3-way in-ear monitors for professionals performing on stage.”

The Grace monitors have a frequency response of 10hz to 20kHz with ten balanced armature drivers and a 3-way passive crossover with impedance correction. The sensitivity is 119 dB/mW. DC resistance is 26.6 ohms. The package comes with a detachable cable, four Comply foam tips, and four silicon tips, a cleaning tool, and a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.

The EM64 professional monitors feature 6 balanced armature drivers with a frequency response of 10hz to 20kHz and a 3-way passive crossover with impedance correction. The sensitivity is 127 dB/mW, with a DC resistance is 44 ohms.

The new Grace in-ear monitors retail for $2,299 USD and are available now from dealers in the US and Canada. For more information on the new Grace model of in-ear monitor, visit: http://www.earsonics.com/in-ear-monitors/en/grace/
