THE STANTON GROUP EXTENDS GLOBAL REACH WITH SALES FORCE REORGANIZATION

Expanding Sales Bring New Positions, Promotions and Growth Opportunities

FRANKFURT, GERMANY, APRIL 8, 2011- The Stanton Group (Musikmesse Hall 5.1, Stand D98 and Prolight + Sound Hall 6.1, Stand C52), a leading group of audio equipment companies specializing in high-quality products for professional DJs, studio monitors for the music industry, sound reinforcement for professional applications and home audio for consumers, announces the restructuring of its global sales force.

Now, with this reorganization, the company leverages its multi-product offerings, breadth of existing talent and expansive international influence.

The Stanton Group has appointed Steve Van Laere to the newly-created position of Senior Director of Worldwide Sales for all Stanton Group brands, Stanton Magnetics, KRK and Cerwin-Vega!. In his new role, Van Laere will continue as Managing Director of EMEA and will now add full responsibility for sales in the Latin America/Canada and Asia Pacific regions to his sphere of influence.

Van Laere joined The Stanton Group in 2003 as EU Sales Manager and was promoted to Managing Director of EMEA in 2008. In this role, Van Laere contributed to the growth and development of that region over the past three years.

Nils Karsten has been promoted to Director of KRK Worldwide Sales. German native Karsten will oversee the selling efforts for all KRK regions; manage sales activities, growth initiatives and training across the globe. Karsten joined The Stanton Group in 2004 as EU Sales Manager. He was promoted to Director of Sales in 2008 and has grown KRK sales to the largest market share of any region in the world. With a formal degree in music and economics, Karsten has a passion for creating music and a strong background in the recording industry.

In a move that reinforces the Group’s position within the domestic market, The Stanton Group announces the promotion of Sean Bowman to the position of U.S. National Sales Manager. In his new role, Bowman will be responsible for the domestic independent dealer channel and the effective sell-through of all national account locations for all brands. Prior to joining The Stanton Group as Eastern Regional Manager, Bowman held the National Accounts Manager and Eastern Regional Manager positions at Auralex Acoustics.

Andrew Duafala has been appointed Director, Key Accounts, U.S.. In this newly created position, Duafala will be responsible for managing The Stanton Group’s national U.S. resellers, including Guitar Center Enterprises and Best Buy, and will work closely with the Domestic Sales Organization on national promotions and product sell-through. A veteran of the music and sound industry for more than 15 years, Duafala served as Vice President of Global Channel Sales at Euphonix, and prior to that he was the International Sales Manager for E-MU Systems.

Lastly, Jean van Doorslaer, has been appointed Regional Sales Manager EMEA. As part of this newly formed position, van Doorslaer will handle sales and channel relationships with all of The Stanton Group’s selling partners in the EMEA regions of Eastern and Southern Europe, Middle East and North Africa. With extensive experience in B2B and B2C sales, van Doorslaer’s expertise also encompasses business management in the event and trade show field. In addition to being a mobile DJ for many years, he’s been actively selling Stanton Magnetics and Cerwin-Vega! PRO lines in Belgium and Luxembourg through former distributor, EVDV.
