The discussion on labor matters during the Joint Committee meeting built upon a USTR-led mission to Jordan in September 2009. Through the pay a visit to Nike Zoom Kobe VI New White Purple, U.S. government officials from USTR plus the Departments of Labor and State joined with officials from Jordan’s Ministry of Labor to hold a meeting in the Labor Subcommittee that was created from the FTA Joint Committee in 2006. As well as considerable meetings with Jordanian government officials Nike Zoom Kobe VI, the U.S. delegation met with representatives from labor unions and worker rights advocates at the same time as home business groups. Throughout the mission Nike Zoom Kobe VI Black White Red, U.S. officials visited factories situated in QIZs to monitor operating situations and urge the government of Jordan to continue creating improvements on labor rights concerns, especially with regard to migrant workers within the apparel factories.
To support this effort, the Usa and Jordan are funding an International Labor Organization Superior Function system jordans for women, which will observe working conditions in garment factories and problem public reports. The project was launched in 2008, and began monitoring activities in QIZ factories in 2009.
