Adamson Systems Engineering in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, has debuted a series of video interviews with front-of-house engineers and production teams discussing the deployment and use of Adamson touring systems. The series is titled "Behind The Curtain."

“With the recent launch of the E-Rack, Blueprint AV and the E219 subwoofer, Adamson offers a complete solution for touring companies,” explains James Oliver, marketing and sales director for Adamson. “We had engineers everywhere that heard about this product family that were finally able to take it out as a complete system, and decided we should share their thoughts about it with users everywhere.”

The project currently features videos with FOH engineers Jon Lemon (Ray LaMontagne, Smashing Pumpkins), Patrick Demoustier and Walter  D’Haease (Rock Werchter Festival), Scott Eisenberg (Imagine Dragons), Kyle Hamilton (Pharrell Williams, Rihanna) and Bruce Reiter (5 Finger Death Punch).

During the interviews Hamilton states, “I put it Number One… It's what I always wanted to tour with,” while Lemon adds, “I think it’s the best P.A. I’ve used in my career so far.” Bruce Reiter, FOH for FFDP, says, “Of the top five brands on the planet this is in the top two.”

The series will continue with videos that include Felix Brenner and Tim Schad (John Fogerty), and Joe Harling (Ellie Goulding), along with recent installations of the Energia family at three of The Netherlands' most iconic venues.

A number of Adamson Energia partner sound companies are also involved in the videos including PRG/EML, Eighth Day Sound, Sound Image and Atomic Pro Audio. George Perone, Atomic Pro Audio, says, “Show me a box that sounds like its 50 feet away when its 300 feet away. A hi-hat will sound the same at a concert field outside as it does in the near-field.”

“We’ve had such a great response from the engineers that have taken this system out,” adds Oliver. “We plan to continue the series throughout 2015 because there are so many stories to be told. I’ve only been with the company a few years now but in that time I’ve heard the industry confirm what our top techs have told me since day one. There is incredible dynamic range with this system and with the right team using it, you can provide an experience for the audience not possible with any other manufacturers products.”
