ANTON/BAUER PRODUCTS BRING EFFICIENCY TO NEXSTAR BROADCASTING GROUP TELEVISION STATIONS

Shelton, CT, February 24, 2009 – Nexstar Broadcasting Group (NASDAQ: NXST) is making a group lead purchase this year of Anton/Bauer gear from AZCAR Digital Products, a division of AZCAR, to power more than 70 Panasonic P2 HD cameras for nine of its stations. Anton/Bauer is currently in use at other Nexstar stations.

“Anton/Bauer’s Dionic-90 Lithium-Ion batteries were chosen to power the Panasonic HPX-500 cameras because of Anton/Bauer’s legacy of battery performance, reliability, features and support that result in smooth ENG operations, says Rick Stople, Nexstar Broadcasting Group director of engineering. “The addition of the Anton/Bauer Tandem-70 charger/power supplies allow fast charging of the batteries and a reduction in the amount of gear carried by each videographer. Additionally, the Anton/Bauer batteries have unique characteristics that interact with the operation of the Panasonic HPX-500 cameras.

The Anton/Bauer UltraLight 2 was also selected as standard equipment for the Panasonic
HPX-500 cameras. In addition, Anton/Bauer’s revolutionary ElipZ battery and ElightZ on-camera light system will be used for the Panasonic HPX-200 P2 HD cameras, providing cost efficiency and a higher performance that’s twice as long as the largest Panasonic battery while simultaneously powering the light.

In total, more than 100 Dionic-90 and ElipZ batteries, 70 chargers and 70 lights comprise the majority of the Anton/Bauer products in this acquisition.

Among the nine stations benefiting from the Anton/Bauer purchase are: KARK-TV in Little Rock AR; KODE-TV and KSNF-TV in Joplin, MO; WFXW-TV in Terre Haute, IN; WCUA-TV in Champaign, IL; KNWA-TV in Fayetteville, AR; WQRF-TV in Rockland, IL; WBRE-TV and
WYOU-TV in the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Market.
